HI! I'M ASHLEY

Hello! I am Ashley, a special education teacher passionate about creating positive relationships and experiences at and beyond the IEP table.

After sitting on the school district's side of the table, I felt frustration, anger, and sadness at the way the system can tie an educator's hands. The best advocate for the child is their parents (and the student), but they don't always know what to ask or how to ask for it.

I know how confusing the jargon can be, how overwhelming the paperwork is, and how intimidating a meeting can feel. You want what is best for your child and I do as well. The best tool to get what your child needs is the knowledge of how to navigate the system. That is how I can support you - I am here to empower you.

I have been a special educator for seven years, overseeing over one hundred IEPs. I know how confusing and frustrating this process can feel for families and teachers. It's time to utilize my experience to assist you.

As a case manager, I support meaningful, productive communication with the IEP team that leads to positive outcomes for students and families. I want to help teachers, parents, and students have similar experiences.

I have dual certification in elementary and special education (K-12) and a masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a certification in administration.  Therefore, I have the credentials, experience, and passion to make a difference in your child's life.

If you would like that inside edge to successfully navigate your next IEP meeting, see my offered services with the link below!
